Security

Protect your account, keep your sessions safe, and report suspicious activity.

Recommended: enable Two-Factor Authentication
2FA adds a second step at login, reducing account takeover risk significantly.
Strong passwords
Use a unique password and keep it private.
  • Use at least 12 characters when possible.
  • Don’t reuse passwords across sites.
  • A password manager can help generate and store strong passwords.
  • Never share verification codes with anyone.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Add a second step at login to protect your account.
  • Use an authenticator app to generate time-based codes (TOTP).
  • Store recovery codes somewhere safe (not in the same device notes).
  • If you change phones, update 2FA as soon as possible.
Sessions & devices
Review where you’re signed in and log out suspicious sessions.
  • Sign out of devices you don’t recognize.
  • Use “Log out other sessions” after using a shared computer.
  • Keep your browser and OS updated for security patches.
Device safety
Your device is part of your security — keep it protected.
  • Enable a screen lock (PIN/Face ID/Touch ID).
  • Avoid installing unknown apps or browser extensions.
  • On public Wi-Fi, be cautious — avoid signing in if the network looks suspicious.
