Overview
- We collect information you provide (like profile details), plus usage data needed to operate the platform.
- Some information is public (like your posts) and some is private (like account security data).
- Payments are processed by payment providers (Global card payments and Bangladesh local payment methods). We receive confirmation and limited billing metadata.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion through Contact support.
What we collect
A) Information you provide
- Account details (email, password hash, basic profile information).
- Profile content you choose to share (name, bio, location, links, etc.).
- Content you create (posts, comments, job applications, messages, uploads).
- Support requests (messages, issue category, and any attachments you provide).
B) Information we collect automatically
- Device and browser info (user agent), IP address (may be stored for security).
- Usage and performance data (pages viewed, features used, error logs).
- Security events (login activity, suspicious behavior signals).
C) Information from integrations
- Social sign-in (e.g., Google): we receive identifiers and basic profile details permitted by the provider and your settings.
- Payment providers: confirmation status and limited metadata (plan, currency, timestamps), not your full payment credentials.
How we use information
- To provide and operate LifeAider (authentication, feeds, jobs, groups, tools).
- To personalize your experience (language/region defaults, feature recommendations).
- To protect the platform (fraud detection, abuse prevention, account security).
- To communicate with you (service messages, support responses, important updates).
- To improve reliability (performance monitoring, bug fixing, and product analytics).
Payments & third parties
LifeAider Plus may be offered through different payment providers depending on your region:
- Global Plus: international card payments (for example, Stripe).
- Bangladesh Plus: local payment methods (for example, bKash / Nagad / cards / bank) via local gateways.
Payment providers process your payment credentials. We typically receive confirmation (success/failure), plan details, and limited metadata needed for billing records and support.
Data retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Account and security logs may be retained for fraud prevention and safety.
- Support messages may be kept to improve support quality and for audit history.
- Backup copies may persist for a limited period for reliability.
Your choices & rights
You may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete certain personal information.
- Control public visibility through privacy settings (when available).
- Opt out of certain communications (where applicable).

Security

Children & eligibility
LifeAider is not intended for children under 12. If you believe a child under 12 is using the service, please contact us via Help Centre.
